Background
Communities in Bossaso have faced recurring droughts and environmental degradation, severely affecting food production and household incomes. Many families relied on traditional farming methods that were no longer sustainable under changing climate conditions.
Intervention
Ecowell Alliance implemented a Climate-Resilient Livelihoods Project focused on strengthening adaptive capacity and promoting sustainable income sources. The project combined climate-smart agriculture training with environmental conservation initiatives.
