Maria Mohamud
CEO of Ecowell Alliance
Maria Mohamud is a Health Science graduate from City Cot University and currently serves as Chairperson and CEO of Ecowell Alliance. With a strong background in public health and community development, she is dedicated to strengthening healthcare systems and expanding access to quality medical education. Maria emphasizes the importance of the three pillars of sustainability—social, economic, and environmental—in transforming underserved communities. She advocates for integrated approaches that promote equitable access to health and education (social sustainability), create livelihood and income-generating opportunities (economic sustainability), and protect natural resources through climate-resilient and environmentally responsible solutions (environmental sustainability).
